15 to 30 Minutes

  • Write an email to the Company of the Week
  • Send a form letter to your representatives
  • Call a friend and get them involved
  • Write a short blog entry on this site

30 to 45 Minutes

  • Call your representative
  • Design some pro metric merchandise
  • Encourage your company to be pro metric
  • Write a letter encouraging a donation to the USMA
  • Write a letter to the editor and submit it to your favorite paper
  • Write a long blog entry on this site

1 to 2 Hours

  • Write a paper letter to your representatives or the Company of the Week
  • Design a form letter
  • Do the research for the Company of the Week
  • Make a pro metric video and post it to You Tube
  • Contact your local radio station
  • Design a piece of radio advertising
  • Write an Op-Ed and submit it to your favorite paper

More than 2 Hours

  • Do a targeted cost study on the cost of not using metric. Examples include:
    • The automotive industry
    • The computer industry
    • Medical mistakes
    • Lost business from not using metric
    • NASA
    • Some part of government provided infrastructure (e.g. roads)
    • Extra household waste
    • Time lost to students not properly learning metric in junior school
  • Organize a rally
  • Design a piece of TV or newspaper advertising
