Strong Middle Class=Strong America

Here is a letter I wrote to Vice President Biden. He has been charged with creating a Middle Class Task Force, to help bolster the middle class. Which we all know is the life blood of the country. Dear Vice President Biden,

I would like to suggest an education idea. As you well know we are the only industrialised nation in the world that doesn't use the Metric System (SI) as a standard in everyday use. I would like for us to begin a 5 year plan of educating and conversion. I suspect that if we did this, then we would have a much stronger GDP. American products would be more desirable around the world. We will no longer be dumbing down our youth and future leaders of this country by burdening them with 2 measuring systems. One of which is archaic, hard to use, and hard to understand. The Metric System is where we need to be in 5 years. It isn't hard to do. Just look at good example of Australia. They converted with ease. They Set a plan, Educated the populous, and Stuck with the plan to completion. They have lived comfortably with the Metric System now for 30 years. Please make this request a serious consideration. Thank you.
