Site Upgrade
As you can probably tell (if you're looking at the site rather than the RSS feed), I've updated the underlying site software and made a few other changes to the front page. It took somewhat longer to get out that I was hoping due to a fatal error on my part when I was mostly done the first time. Such is life. Instead of re-doing it all, I've made the first set of changes in order to get them out and we can all add to the site as we go instead of relying on me to do all the heavy lifting (which can be slow if I've got other things going on).
The Company of the Week section is no longer front page news, instead I've created a Campaigns section with the aim of getting people who are interested in particular areas together so they can help each other make a difference.
The site should load a lot faster and the front page is set to cache for an hour so it's not regenerated on each load.
Another change is that comments are only available to people who have created accounts. I would have liked to continue to leave it open but there are too many spammers and not enough people helping to maintain the site. Thus, if you want to comment, you need to sign in.
