Thank you for your note about education being a priority. I'm extremely interested in how fixing our measurement system (i.e. completing metrication) falls into your plans for improving our education system. I've talked to many students and teachers and our continued use of an antiquated measurement system comes up constantly as a pain point. Our customary system of measurement is significantly more complex to learn than metric and students have to learn both to be competitive in the workplace. This means we're wasting vast amounts of time teaching them something they could live without if only the rest of our society was exclusively metric. Please tell me you're willing to finish the job of metrication.
