If you've done something to promote metrication this week, add it to this post (better to add to the main content than comments).

- More reading (with note taking) of the alcohol labeling rules proposal (27 CFR Parts 4, 5, 7, and 24 Labeling and Advertising of Wines, Distilled Spirits and Malt Beverages; Proposed Rule ). Page 7 of 26. Will post notes when I'm done.
- Searched through Google Video and YouTube for pro metric videos and created a multimedia section of this site including them.
- Some research on health issues to do with metrication (or, rather, lack thereof). I think we should be able to make enough noise to make metric the standard in all medicine, not just hospitals.
- Mailed Mayo clinic to see if they'll give us the information they used to make their choice to change to metric and hopefully join us to pressure government and other health institutions.
- Blog entry on road signs. We all need to mail representatives (it's on my todo for this week) as this is the perfect opportunity to change to metric signs.
- Posted Kraft to the Company of the Week.

- I noticed the Wikipedia article on Money mentions gold prices in oz. I put the prices in grams in parenthesis. I don't have a source for that info, and I assumed the original values are in troy ounces.

- Did some research on the US National Grid, and started a thread at the Go Metric Forum explaining it. USNG Thread has numerous links to more detailed information. Still looking for the best way to advocate all map makers adopt USNG.
